Positioning

Sharpen how your brand
explains itself.
Make people care.

A 20-day positioning and messaging project that clarifies who you are, who you speak to, and what makes people choose you.

Positioning isn't your logo or your tagline. It's the answer to the question: "Why should I choose you over every other option?" Most brands can't answer that question cleanly — and their audience feels it.

The Brand Rework is a full positioning and messaging overhaul. We start from your audience (who they are, what they care about, what they fear), map where you currently sit in the market, and define the territory you can own — credibly and distinctively.

The result is a clear strategic messaging framework: your core positioning statement, audience segments, key messages, brand voice, and copy guidelines — everything you need to brief a designer, write a website, or brief an agency.

A sharp positioning statement is worth more than six months of content. It's the foundation everything else is built on.

No — the Brand Rework is a strategy and messaging project. It produces the brief that a designer or design agency needs to create or refresh your visual identity. Many clients use the Brand Messaging Guide as input for a website redesign or rebrand.
We can incorporate your existing research to reduce scope and cost. If it's thorough and recent, we'll use it directly. If there are gaps, we'll supplement rather than replace.
Two rounds of structured feedback are included — one during the positioning direction phase and one during the messaging framework. This keeps the project moving while ensuring you're genuinely aligned at each step.
That's a separate copywriting engagement, but we often run it as a follow-on after the Brand Rework. Having the messaging framework first means the website copy writes much faster and more consistently.
Absolutely. Positioning matters as much in physical retail, hospitality, and service businesses as it does online. The messaging framework is channel-agnostic — it tells you what to say, and you apply it wherever you talk to customers.
